I love how they say peanut butter and jelly don't go well together, when in the US we literally have a saying where anything that matches, or if a couple is cute together, we say they're "like peanut butter and jelly"

It's not far from what Americans think of that drink. I was always given those when I was little and hated them, they were only a little better than water and most times I'd prefer the water instead.

all of them speak great english! for the tasting, they gotta realize the foods were all designed for finicky toddlers and elementary kids... the older kids wouldn't like them as much...

The food isn’t just for toddlers and elementary kids. Idk about you but I like capri sun, lunchables, and some of the other foods. Those r great to pack for school lunches especially if u don’t have very long to eat and/or if u don’t buy the school lunches. Also FYI I’m not a toddler or an elementary kid.

I love those blue drinks haha, very nostalgic. Our school served milk every day. We Americans like our nuclear colored sweets, though our parents don't. I think it is fun to the kids here.

Yea lots of preserved food like jerky of everything, rice crackers, dumplings, you can get almost anything real fast as a snack in Asian and pretty cheap too.

@American Born I thought it was fine as I have seen these in some kids school lunches as well. Say like Pennsylvania and the South. Of course we have better snacks that this channel could cover later but it is a bit more unique that they covered these cheaper ones. I do think it just would have been a good idea to include "cheap lunch" in the title.

Most of what they gave you are not what adults eat but the pork rinds they should've given you the spicy one with a lime to squeeze on them high in protein too. Pb& jelly must be made at home not freezer. Pb & snickers simply fruit spread is it.

I thought it was interesting that they chose these snacks. Yeah, they were cheap lunch snacks but not so obscure that they were unrecognizable (which can be fine too). And some kids to eat these depwnding on the region. (Though It would have been good to include "cheap lunch snacks" in the title)

Good vid but should of labeled the video Try American Kid Snacks. Then there might not be so much backlash on the crappy snacks. As an adult the only snack there that I have eaten in the past 30 years is the pork skins . I might be interested in watching a video of American adults eating kid snacks because a lot of us don't eat that crap. We just eat the unhealthy adult snacks :).

U have to put the peanut butter sandwiches in the microwave it melt the peanut butter inside I know I buy them all the time the reason why the peanut butter is to thick is because when you buy them out the store they are in the freezer section that is why you supposed to put them in the microwave omg 😲😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

American snack foods are definitely less healthy, generally speaking, than most of the world's snacks. We just don't have laws that restrict things like sugar and sodium in a lot of our foods. There are even versions of things we have in the US that aren't quite the same when you get outside the US. Many soft drinks like Coke have less sugar in other countries than it has in America.

we figured that that type of oreo would be more common in a kid's lunch because it was easier to transport!

Probably also because you can buy oreos anywhere. Whereas deconstructive oreos you cannot really find outside of the U.S.

I haven’t been to too many countries but the ones i have visited definitely had a plethora of unhealthy snacks so im always super confused when ppl in these “tries American snacks” videos act like we need some kind of hazard warning on our food.

I hated those kool-aid things growing up and the pizza Lunchables were so gross. Honestly, everything else was good and I absolutely love chicharrones and carpisuns are better than those artificially flavored ones...

How come so many of the snacks I see in these kinds of videos are just the cheap bulk stuff parents buy their 5 year olds?
