The origin of the name Soap Land. First it had been called Turkish Bath (トルコ風呂or just Turkyトルコ). One day, a customer called the real Turkish embassy( the name of the facility,I mean brothel was 大使館(embassy) to book after reading telephone book by mistake, then the member of the embassy got so angry feeling that they were humiliated and complained this to the Japanese goverment ,which took it seriously, fearing it would escalate into diplomatic conflict. Then it decided to abolish that naming. After consideration, the name Soap Land was introduced. This is the true story though most of the young Japanese people don't know this fact.

I actually knew the "circle" one because in a lot of low-budget rhythm games, the music is usually taken from doujinshi "music circles" rather than established musical acts, as they're among the people who'd just want the publicity of being in a music game rather than the money that could be made there.

I found your story very interesting. Not boring at all. Keep up the good work!
I imagine it's called a circle because you're in your "social circle". Dunno why they call it a social circle though. Maybe because if it's only a certain group of people, they're all limited to each other, so they all know each other. Like, John knows Bob, Bob knows Penny, Penny knows Lou, and Lou knows Bob and they're all good friends with each other. *confused noise*
I am so glad there is another David in this world with long hair.

I'm glad I followed Dave's advice and checked out the cover he linked in his 'I saw a K-pop boyband' vid (Despite ignoring the link to your channel in the rap battle vid >.>), this has given myself and some friends some serious laughs on what has been a crappy day. Hope you guys do a few more, seriously funny.
you're so sweet together ;-) ikn you're brothers, but you get a good vibe together and that's a good thing. you make people smile and have fun! so, that's all that matters, right? cheers and be well good people! P.S.: damn, i already commented twice here, and thought that i did on another one. So, that's how good you are!

why are you so kind and nice? ;-) i see this videos from your brothers channel, which i just discovered from a subtle word from pewdiepie channel... ikn long chain, but good final result! ;-) found about two awesome people, so is not a waste of time! Just love and passion for what people can do instead of whining about every nonsense in their life! be well and be yourselves forever!
adorableという語が面白いですね。日本人にはadorableの発音がドロボーに聞こえます。She is totally utterly adorable.というのと聞くと一瞬、「彼女はほんとうにまったくもって泥棒だ」と聴き取ってしまう。I can'tも「あかん」にUKでは聞こえるし。

cool。いいね。 24歳の私が「コンパニオン」と聞いて連想するのは"Promotion model"とか"Booth babe"を意味する「イベントコンパニオン」かなぁ、など。もちろん動画中の意味もあるんだけど、通常の生活ではそうそう使う場面がないです。 (poor eng)I'm 24 years old. Recently, I think that the word of "KO N PA NI O N" in japan is associated with "I BE N TO(event) konpanion" meaning "Promotion model" or "Booth babe". It is not wrong that the meaning of "KO N PA NI O N" in this video, however, in ordinary life, we have scarcely any occasion to use the word as "SU-PA-(super) konpanion" meaning what you said.

I'd love to see you do this with an older generation guest like your parents presuming you have the same two as Dave that he's described as very considerate humans.., the reasoning being some of these are words or phrases/ descriptions that have fallen out of fashion in England or are regional to northern England. I recognise almost all of them from Sheffield area slang. Something to consider. I was surprised that some of these struck you as odd when they are so commonly used among northerners in their 50s/60s which isn't a criticism I found it so interesting to realise people don't frequently use them in your area. And that they've either survived adaptation into another language or are such obvious translations that it makes sense to come out similar over there. Hide that makes sense. You seem lovely, Subscribed and binging. Take care. :)

so funny! I really like your video because I didn't used to know what 'Shonen ai(少年愛)' means in English, I thought it's about LITTLE boys' love cause Shonen means boys who are around 7-16years old in Japanese. I don't know where it came from but most of Japanese people don't know that BL is called Shonen ai in other countries. funny
