runAway Japan Dean, this Ibaraki Trilogy was a great idea and greater fun! I know you like a good chance he after seeing your videos so this was perfect - although I thought you’d be a little tougher to beat 😏 gonna have to find the next big challenge and it would be fun to have you back for that! 🤟 #deannukem

@@WaoryuONLYinJAPAN admit it guys, you only did the 15 minutes so that you had an excuse for not having to finish! 😂 And you know...... I hate to say that but... The second attempt doesn't count since we did not see where the food went after you picked it up! Challenge does NOT count as completed! 😜
@ginettepagan33875 жыл бұрын
😂 All I kept thinking was, “Stop talking! You’re filling yourself with air and letting the food settle so the brain registers your stomach as full quicker!” The trick to this is not think and just act and consume. 😂 In any case, good job. Love your videos. Keep them up!
@BRuh-gv3rk4 жыл бұрын
Is that a real thing
@who57894 жыл бұрын
1212 yeah, it is. Your stomach needs time to realize that it’s full, that’s why doctors recommend to eat slower to people who struggle with weight loss because they often eat too fast and too much, and they don’t realize they’re full. For people who are food racers, they eat as fast as possible without talking, not just because of the fact that there may be a time limit, but because they need to make sure their stomach doesn’t realize it’s full for a while.

Great coverage of what to expect from Japanese Service Centers and the local food and goods that one can find. They sure know how to satisfy the appetite of a hungry traveler. I've never considered Japan a car country, so I was surprised by the SAs and the food courts. This is why I enjoy your channel; you challenge my mindset and reveal new horizons about Japan and it's culture. Needless-to-say I've truly enjoyed your Ibaraki trilogy. Please do more road-trip style videos. BTW I hope you didn't get indigestion eating all of that food so fast (twice, really?).

@@user-mikeneko5517 Americans don't think the Japanese ride horses. We know you eat them. Americans think trains and buses are used in Japan more than cars. Everyone knows Japan makes cars. Japanese don't go on road trips in their cars as much as Americans. A lot of miscommunication in these comments.

Wow! Can’t believe you wolfed down that mountain of meat and rice two days in a row! I was gonna say, you could shovel the rice into your mouth “Chinese” style...that’s how we do it, when we’re hungry or in a hurry. Not elegant, but gets the job done! Since, you applied that technique on day 2, I guess they do the same in Japan. I always thought the Japanese avoid doing that at all costs. Loved this fun and interesting episode, John! 🍚🥢
