Nice one! I searched online and couldn't find much for takoyaki. There are some all-you-can-eat takoyaki places for as low as 850 yen (60 minutes) in the Kansai area! Why did they give you a butter knife for a monster gyoza. You don't need a steak knife, you need a machete
@MoltenMouseMetal8 жыл бұрын
The thing that would kill me about the giant gyoza is that the texture / ingredient balance would be really off. It would be like eating a giant tortilla / steamed bun and getting a big bowl of just filling on the side. Although I suppose after the first 500g or so it would all start to taste the same anyways. Flavor-fatigue sucks :(

@mazinombies47529 жыл бұрын
+Blackemperess Sorry if this is a late reply, and if you are even interested still! But normally, from my experience with food challenges, at least in the UK and the US, if you complete the challenge in the allotted time you don't have to pay! It's always a pain trying to use a fork to get something with a semi-tough outside (in this case very tough) and a liquid-ish inside. The tactic of what ever he was doing was a terrible one though... Granted though not much you can do about being given a butter knife to cut the thing :|... In reality the only solution would to be bring 2 knifes or a sharpened fork.

That is a big gyoza. I could tear that giant Gyoza up in a nano second. So the saying is. The hungrier you are, the better food challenges you take.

I wouldnt eat that Gyoza for a challenge. I would just love to get one of those things in a take-out container. Take it home. And eat it there while watching the Superbowl or something. And wouldnt use a fork/knife either. Just pick it up and eat it like a large watermelon slice of meat and bread.
