This song was my all time favorite of Dio's. It is an epic tale of the perils of falling for the fast track and taking the easy road. And listening to the promises of Evil. To Hell with those who said he was evil. He was an influence in my music and my life, and I feel like I have lost something personally. Sounds silly, I never met, nor knew the man except through his music, but there is something missing, something that runs deep.

Dio wrote and sang the most honorable, intelligent Metal lyrics... ...never about "pussy" never about "Gettin' fucked up on a Friday night.", and lived a life free of drugs and drama with the police. Dio didn't get arrested, he didn't crash cars drunk, he didn't jump into the mosh pit and beat somebody senseless. Offstage, he didn't live like Axel, Ozzy, Staley or The Stones. He didn't do stupid shit. Just kept making music for us. Rock Valhalla! and Queensryche are the second to that.
