I'm watching this in March 2022. My first take on it was "oh, surely he's playing it up to show the futility of shooting the show from home," but as I'm reading the comments, I'm more identifying with how I've felt as an educator trying to do virtual and hybrid learning. It's still energizing to engage the kiddos, but it's a huge psychological drain and just not as fun. I was really excited to get back into the classroom last fall - but conditions have changed a lot for students, not to mention delta and omicron coming along and reversing some of the freedoms felt last summer. Focus on preventative measures: low deaths and low cases (i.g. flatten the curve), sure the economy will be relatively bad but that's gonna happen no matter what. The point is that we don't overload the healthcare system cause that's when the economy REALLY tanks (as shown by the U.S as a direct result of not responding in time)
