As someone who has been cooking their whole life and was a chef, most pumpkins that you can buy commercially are absolutely DEMONIC to eat. Like, they have the sketchiest flavour! That pineapple meat thing is so fake. You can see the pork was taken out, cooked separately and then inserted back in the pineapple monstrosity. If it would've stayed in the oven all the way through, the bacon would've been burned by the time the pork was cooked and the pork wouldn't have had that "crispy" outer layer (it would've looked almost like boiled meat because of all the pineapple moisture)

Store-bought frosting is oil-based, meaning it cannot dissolve into water or milk. It also means that it will separate under high heat. Once in the oven, the sugar would caramelize and cooked to the glass, but the oil would seep around the cake batter and make it come out looking like a pepperoni pizza... or a weed brownie. That's why the cake they show at the end is 2 layers of chocolate batter and doesn't have any icing on the bottom of the cake pan. Instead, I would use a ceramic or metal pan (NOT GLASS ¡¡¡muy importante!!!) and cook a thick caramel-flavored sauce out of condensed milk, powdered sugar (or cornstarch) and almond flour, cool to room temp, add Reese's, refrigerate it until set, dust with a thin but even layer of almond flour and chopped peanuts, then add the cake batter. That should produce the effect she claims in the video, though I think a poke cake with an uncooked mixture made from peanut butter and condensed milk would be better.

My suspicion with that pork pineapple situation is she took the pork out, cooked it, then put it back in to fake the "finished" product. I feel like the bacon would've burned long before the pork loin finished cooking otherwise.
@tallulahmoon69432 жыл бұрын
even more proof of this is that the pork is browned on the top and sides, which wouldn't happen if it was cooked in anything, let alone something with tons of water like pineapple. it would probably be soggy and pale.
@rumbbbytomb97822 жыл бұрын
My theory is that she is a good cook, or her friend is a good cook because you can see hints of it in each dish. They wanted to go to social media with their food but did not get enough clout and noticed that these outrage channels were getting tons of views and tried that, and it worked for them. The reason the meat looks fully cooked each time is because they take it all apart and cook each part separate except for the pumpkin one.
