Ikr...i was CRYING begging my mom to change my course...she pressed me...i graduated late with bad grades, not to mention developed anxiety where i got scared hearing my phone vibrate, to the point i can identify different vibration for different texting apps...depression where i dont even leave bed... Second time it happened cuz of bullying, my dad was sick and i didnt give enough f anymore. I didnt even attend class and just disappear... Now i felt better with good people around me. My mom used to bring up my first course and im like "and who was it that didnt let me change my course!?"

There's so many reasons other than how someone looks why they might not be dating anyone at the moment. I always found this sentiment very annoying but that might be because it's been said to and asked of me and I just never feel like getting into the reasons why I was single at the time and then I'm forced to deflect. It just seems like a really weird mindset to have, "this person is attractive, they should have a SO". I know you put in the part about "if he wants to be single cool" but it still puts this weird kind of expectation on him, especially if he isn't single by choice. Idk, maybe it's just me and I'm over analyzing (wouldn't be the first time) but it's weird to me.
