I saw that first pitch he threw out. Trust me, this guy has never played a sport in his life. It always struck me as humorous having him discussing football with ex professional players and disagreeing with them. Arguing with J.J. Riddick about basketball. Last time I checked, J.J was coached by coach K and played 17 years in the N.B.A. Seems like he would just shut up and listen to J.J. as he might learn something

I think you have it. I'll give him his story about injury. If SAS was on scholarship, maybe it wasn't a full athletic scholarship. It could have been academic or some other scholarship. Also once in college, he applied for and earned another scholarship. That was possible back then. In many books, things are often embellished. I'll say this in closing, like many people of prominence, perhaps his academic records are sealed like President Trump's. Whitlock has issues with the big networks having been released from duties at them even Outkick. I'm skeptical of all them.

This ain't a f****** movie. Team managers don't suit up. Stephen A Smith will tell you over and over what college he went to but he will never tell you what high school he played at in New York City and that's very rare for a New York ball player because they're more proud of that than where they went to college or who they played for professinally

@@seanswinton6242 thank you for probably the most honest assessment in this comments section. He embellished stuff on his resume and his past like a lot of people do , but I don't think it's some big conspiracy or he's an illuminati plant. Whitlock is just using his personal vendetta against ESPN and SAS to give conspiracy nuts catnip, and to stir the pot. Unfortunately a big chunk of his audience eats it up without questioning it. Whitlock's "evidence" doesn't make sense, like somehow everyone that was SAS's college teammate was fake too. Not one ex Winston-Salem state player has come out and said that SAS wasn't the team Whitlock's just riding the coattails of Katt Williams exposure of the entertainment industry
