SAS released a book, Whitlock reviewed the book and raised quite a few red flags about Stephen A Smiths college sporting career as told in the book. Whitlock was well researched, and thorough. It was a good piece of journalism. I couldve done without the Industry Plant political angle. It was a sloppy way to tie it to Katt Williams .SAS went on an out of character personal attack, and called on every one of his colleagues to do the same. I dont care about who called who, and why Jamele Hill didnt want to work with Whitlock. We all know a Jason Whitlock type. I take 2 things from this. No one likes Jason Whitlock. It was long enough ago I can't quite remember who they were playing, but if I was watching Alabama play it was probably versus Auburn, and they did an onside kick, went down and scored to win. Interviewing the kid who got the ball on the onside kick he said, "Right before I went on the field, Coach told me the guy I was opposite would turn around to cover the kick so I should keep my eye on the ball," and damn if that's just what happened. Saban knew the kids on the other team well enough to know that and coached his player up special seconds before the play. I remember that onside against Clemson in the national championship, the kid said they had been practicing that play since August. Nobody prepped like Saban, and that's why he was such a consistent winner. Alabama beat my team too often and I can't stand them, but hats off for Saban.
