Avs won in spite of having terrible goaltending, not because they had a good tandem between the pipes. Kuemper was .902 during the playoffs behind the best team in the league and Frankie was .906. Hardly stellar. Kuemper was just the best the Avs could do at the time after Grubauer left. Georgiev so far looks like a decent upgrade over Kuemper.

I’m a Blues Fan and I attended this game tonight. Absolutely pathetic showing for STL. Gotta feel bad for Greiss in that situation. The antics by Jordan Binnington are getting old. I’m all for a guy sticking up for himself and a goalie in particular sticking up for themself. However, he routinely chirps the bench when he gets pulled after a terrible game. It’s annoying and doesn’t look good.
