People that accusing China of something, have never been to China themself. My wife is Chinese and i have been in CHina more than 15times the last 10y. BUt my fellow Norwegian have never been and kinda arguing with me about Huawei, Xinjiang, tibet, HK and Taiwan all the time, but laterly some of them starting to soften up about CHina, simple because i have been showing them real life and picture where Norwegian media will never show them. This summer, me and bunch of friends already plan to travel and visit China and all of them for the first time, this gonna be fun. See you soon China

Last time, when I talked about the Xinjiang issue in the eyes of Europeans and Americans, it originated from the military training camps of terrorist organizations in Xinjiang in the 1990s. I don't know why some people get mad at this. Do you believe they are for justice? No, they hope that the more turmoil in Xinjiang the better. The more people killed the better, so they have a chance to show their justice. International human rights organizations have published reports on human rights in Xinjiang? --You should first explain why the Albanian Liberation Army of the Yugoslavia miraculously changed from a terrorist organization to a victimized weak before bombing Yugoslavia.

Legend has it the local people sweat sand! It is worthwhile taking a road trip out that way despite the seemingly inhospitable conditions. There's a road from this town that heads east over a Kunlun mountain pass up onto the far western Tibetan Plateau into the adjacent Qinghai. Still very arid, basically more desert (Gobi/stoney) but at higher altitude. Was (might still be) an asbestos mining operation up there and the highway 312 (?) gets you eventually to distant Golmud. Right in the middle of nowhere, but plenty of natural resources - evaporite deposits (gypsum, anhydrite, halite) as well as hydrocarbons. Crude oil seeps at the surface too.
