Father in heaven, i pray that in 4 years year time, when i come back to watch this interview,i actually understand what they're talking about. Edit: Oh my God I forgot about this comment! How time flies! The simple answer is yes, I just rewatched this video and definitely understood most of what they were talking about. Great info in your video's. And respect for Young Guru sharing his knowledge. At the end at part 1 hé nails exactly my problem. I was always adding instead of removing in the low end to get more bass. But it always resulted in muddy blurry bass that didn't work and ruins your mix. Creating space makes sense mixwise because that's why it is called mixing. When a good mix goes to mastering the mastering engineer only needs to make small adjustments to make it really stand out.
