Disaster well person on the interwebs if thats the thing you are worried about I suggest take a chance and do it you will be surprised if you just shadow them for a day . It will be much more usefull than completely changing your pattern .

People with kids should have a day where kids get to bring their parents alongside and just observe whats happening randomly by meeting you child in school during recess or break . Edit: isntead of just dropping and picking your kids from school . You will have a better apreciation of each other and reduce friction based on my experience.

This was wonderful! What a great way to get to know your partner on a deeper level and learn to appreciate what the other does. I wish me & my domestic partner could do this, but she's an officer with NYPD DHS and it just wouldn't be practical, or safe. This was really great. I sat my significant other down and ahowed him what went into me being a mortgage loan processor. Before I could finish prepping one file for underwriting he gave up.
