Ambhi, the Indian king who ruled the territory between Indus and Jhelum, holds an important place in Indian history. In Western sources, among the Indian kings, his mention is second only to Porus. In this video, we talk about the different aspects of Ambhi's relation with Alexander and his neighbours.

It is interesting to note that some prominent historians even questioned the very theory of Alexander alias Sikandar being there in the scene itself,they further argue that the name Sikander is more popular as it may be originated from the worriers name from the Middle East! That may be reason the name Alexander is not mentioned anywhere in the Indian history notes of yesteryears,it can be only be sourced from Greek historians ! so it becomes one way history !

Maybe I mean to say that you could also have Hindi versions of the videos too, such that you reach people who aren't that great or naturally inclining to listening to English narration... Rajput. This gujjar relation comes because of a very misunderstood fact. The reason they got the title gurjara in front of their name because Nagabhata or vatsaraja conquered the area known as gurjaradesha (basically southern Rajasthan and northen Gujarat) , gaining them the title of gurjara Raja. They have little to no connection with the pastoral community of north-western and Kashmir part of India known as 'gujjars'. It is also possible Nagabhata was most likely a native of ujjain who take over this region after defeating the arabs.
@Playerone1287

Actually rajputs were not a caste back then it became a rigid caste much later in 1600s Most of Rajputs originated from indigenous pastoral and landlord communities, they were earlier considered as shudras, best example is Shivaji, these kings from different communities married within themselves this forming a rigid caste Rajputs, this still happens like King of jaipur marrying a Bengali thakur, Marathi princess vasundhara raje marrying A Jat king even Jat king surajmal declared himself a rajput but since he was a king in 1700s so he couldn't become rajput because rajputs had become a caste at that time Same goes for gurjars, now we don't if it was a community/caste or just an ethnicity based in some gurjar Pradesh Everything is actually quite hoch poch and mixed I guess
