I think this video in particular shows why the move to Jazza from Draw with Jazza was so important and impactful. When you boil it down Jazzas content is a masterclass in experimentation and mixed media, discovering new forms and creatively playing with more traditional forms to create otherwise impossible results and build on your abilities to become a more rounded and dynamic artist. You’re an inspiration mate, thank you for all the awesome content.

I know there's paper in the back but I would be curious to see what it looks like with a lightboard behind it. If you decide to make more of these, have you considered maybe making something you can put a light bulb behind? I love Treasure Planet! One of the first where they mix 2D/3D together. There's was a clip where they tested it on an old animation of Captain Hook...took out his 2D arm and animated a 3D arm in it's place. They tested it before they went all in a Silver's arm in the movie. I'm such a nerd for behind the scenes stuff. I also really enjoy this layered effect, it gives everything a lot of depth. And this is a different take, most use resin and paint. Very cool.

I haven't been able to enjoy just, painting because it's fun, for a while. But this single video struck back the inspiration I lost to that class, and now I'm excited to draw and paint and do anything creatively, for me because I enjoy it. The excitement you feel putting yourself in your art is mirroring what I feel doing art for my son. Whether it's making a poster of him and sonic going head to head or recreating his sketches with professional supplies, the look on his face is so wonderful. I love Treasure Planet as well it is so so good :) Its one of those movies that I could really relate to growing up, I didn't really have a Dad in my life like Jim. I just really had my siblings and Mom who would help me and support me when I really needed them. I probably drove my family insane rewatching this over and over again. This movie has really inspired me and made my love for animation what it is now, and I hope to create something as iconic and amazing and ahead of it's time just like Treasure Planet someday.

Hey Jazza, me and my sister watches your videos and and we Love doing art! Though My sister does it a lot more. But sometimes she finds it’s hard to find art materials to use so I got her one of your kits and I would like to say thank you. Thanks so much for allowing me to surprise her with art materials she never thought she could get or afford. It’s really means the world to me.

Using thinner Glas and separating the ship and the frontcover with the character into those layers could be tricky but nice.

The mixture of the colored plexiglass and the paper gives the piece an almost surreal or dreamlike appearance that really sells the whole piece.

Jazza, I think you adding yourself in your work is awesome. I would be lying if I didn't say I made art of things I love and added myself into it for fun too. Of course its self indulgent, but its YOUR art, your the one putting the effort and work into it, if adding yourself adds to the joy of making something, then I believe its okay to do so! Seeing amazing artists like you doing that makes me feel better about doing it myself too lol

This is like the 3d resin art, without all the hassle and pain. Art doesn't have to include a crazy difficult process to be cool. 👍 Treasure planet is one of my favorites along with titan a.e.

As soon as I saw the email saying your pro artist set was back in stock I dropped everything to buy it. Its my treat for getting a distinction on one of my essays at college. I missed it last time and I wasn't gonna miss it again. Now I just have to (im)patiently wait for it to arrive.

Not Jazza making me cry 🥲. True passion for art and being able to do what you always dreamed of has always hit close to home with me, and I think that’s why I have been watching him for so long. He loved what he does and he makes the whole process of watching as enjoyable as making the art itself. He’s an inspiration to me, and I hope to one day be able to follow my own passion for art!

I draw myself in a lot of my drawings as well. I was kind of embarrassed about it, but I really just wanted to see myself in a reality different than the one I'm in. I feels so good to see my favorite internet artist doing the same. You and your work are amazing!!

This is so cool!!! I'm glad you took your acrylic pour test and went further with this method because WOW is it impressive! I would have never thought of doing layers of glass like this and the markers really make use of that material. I bet it's even better in person with depth-perception!

Jazza, this is an absolute masterpiece. Loved all you said throughout the video, it was so personal. So inspiring! I was feeling stuck with an artwork yesterday and this motivated me. Also, feel free to draw yourself everywhere, we don't mind it one bit.
