Ever since Decked Out released, this silly little Minecraft minigame has consumed the better part of the last 3 weeks of my life. I literally just finished watching the making of Decked Out 2 supercut yesterday and when I got to the part where he made the clank and hazard systems, he explained it quite quickly and so I thought to myself "dang, imagine jazziired makes a gnireenignE video on this, that'll probably never happen cause he already made one on decked out", and then not even an hour later, this video was released. Actually insane. Yeah just wanted to share that little story. Excited to see the next episode! Maybe after the jukebox sound effect system, you could discuss the hazard system. Just the suggestion tho, no pressure!

@@heekoo_8287 I would recommend him to have his community check out the livestream vods and mark timestamps with important information. There are so many hours of livestreams to go through, and information is sometimes given while bugfixing, or while someone is running the dungeon, or while he's doing anything else. So it makes more sense to turn that into a community effort. Brainstorming ideas to organise this: The community can send timestamps or clips. Then one volunteer or a few volunteers can organise this and keep track of it in a spreadsheet to make sure all livestreams are covered. This database could be used by Jazii to learn more about the system, but anyone else could use it as well. So it could benefit the whole community. Maybe someone could even make a compilation video with all clips that contain technical details?

11:00 I had to solve that exact problem a while ago, and I solved it using an sr-nor-latch (properly nor, using nor gates, not droppers). I had a clock typically used in item elevators and one of the states was blocking it from working, while the other would allow the items to go up. Then I had a comparator reading weather the dropper was already empty, and if so, it would change the latch to the blocking state. When I wanted to move the items back up, I would change the state of the latch to the non blocking one. (it was on Bedrock edition, btw)

It kinda makes sense (in base Minecraft game mechanics) that "shrackers" are only triggered if _players_ set off the sculk sensor. Wardens are meant to only spawn if _players_ are screwing around in the Deep Dark (it's essentially Clank as an actual vanilla mechanic!), while other mobs (including other Wardens) may trigger the sculk sensor but won't "sound the alarm" for additional Warden spawning. Otherwise you get a feedback loop the moment a regular hostile mob spawns close enough to trigger a shrieker three times and boom, Oops All Wardens.

So I've been picking away at my own recreation of the basic systems. I like your fixes to the Clank system way more than my spaghetti. I'm actually struggling with the central clock that controls card scheduling. Which seems a bit silly, but it's a more complicated mechanism than you might expect. He has a double dropper thing (which I guess is called a latch) that controls a six second clock (Cards can only be played every six seconds at the fastest). A card draw is queued every 30 seconds while the game is running (pushing items into the six second dropper latch). That all makes sense to me. The thing that has me pulling out my hair, he has a card called haste that increases the card scheduler speed by 10%. Meaning that 30 second clock becomes a 27 second on one play of haste, 24.3 seconds on two plays, and 21.87 seconds on the third and final play of haste. Is there a smart way to do this or do I just need to build 5 clocks?

@DreadKyller
@DreadKyller 7 ай бұрын
That item that gets left behind in the hopper doesn't matter you just need an additional item in the system, once the system is primed with that additional item it'll stay there, releasing 4 items will result in 4 items in the droppers at the end, the original item in the hopper, plus the three that get through, with the last item replacing the one that was already stuck. There's no need to remove the stuck item. Regardless this system is quite out of date now, he's much of the game several times to add additional functionality, fix bugs/stability, or to optimize/speed up.

Great video! Minor critique the balance of game sound to voice to music is a bit mismatch, the voice is nice and loud but the game sounds are almost hidden under the jazz. When listening on a quieter setting you lose the game sounds entirely since they are so far different from voice volume.

Anyone can do it as long as they have played around with redstone enough I myself took almost a week to figure out the diamond button.Its really quite simple.The thing is you have a one way input connected to the diamond dispensers another connected to an RS NoR latch that is connected to the primary etho hopper clock and the wire is aldo connected to the cure button connected to an AND gate increasing in redstone strength as the helth goes down and unlocks gates for more diamonds to comeout of the dispenser it's really quite simple.Because everything mumbo builds is simple
