howdy! I just installed (today) one of those in my '12 BMW GS 1200 Adventure. My thoughts on the device: - Sound quality is awesome, no distortion even on max volume; - Good enough to hear at highway speeds (only the wind noise on my helmet gets in the way - I´ll go for a taller windscreen in order to solve that); - EXCELLENT build quality What I didn´t like: - the mounting system - it moves my mirrors way too much upward and they do vibrate a lot more - I´ll get a set of mirror clamps and move the speakers further into the middle section of the handlebar. It will be easier to properly adjust their positioning that way as well. Mounting the speakers in the mirrors also gave me trouble with my GPS, I´ll need to try a different setup for it ; - no 3.5mm stereo input; USB only for charging, IMHO it should offer USB playback as well (Bluetooth tends to play in lower volumes as I tried with different stereo systems on different motorcycles - even in my Indian with stock stereo I prefer using USB playback because it is louder; - no way to change tracks through the unit buttons (my bicycle-mounted JBL Wind does that), that´s an issue since I use my smartphone (which stays in my pocket) as music source Apart from the small design flaws it´s a rather decent stereo and I must say JBL did a fine job on that.
