Looking good! I'd like to run an e-brake on my BajaBug. Can't wait to see the AC setup

great work as always guys! I liked your use of the "step-drill-file" to soften the edges on your oblong holes😃 you guys are keeping me excited to get back to work on my Baja, now that the buggy is done...for now🤣

Haha, using the step bit wasn't planned, but it worked and that's all that matters. I'll file that technique for later use though, absolutely!

Its time for a mini-split a/c in the garage

I don't really have the wall space for one unfortunately.

You could always later replace the "custom" caliper mount bolt with cap screws.

Or maybe not. Lol

@@Itsa_Mea Yeah, that was my original intent when I ground down the 17mm bolt...then the parking brake cable said otherwise!

Sam I'm not sure how you're going to do the A/C, but they make a kit using a small electric motor driving a small compressor... I believe the kit comes with all the evaporator and hardware and pcs needed to make a working unit... Sure looks better than the ugly unit they put on the vw engine... Baja is looking good.. Nate is growing up fast... Enjoy those precious moments together....

I've seen them and we've considered it but I think we're going to try a standard engine unit first!
