#2 is something I haven't seen on any other channel. I'm gonna give that drill a go. As for changing the grip on #1, I had such a cupped hand that no grip was able to square the face. I definitely hinge the club too much. Thanks for the video.

Is it possible to make a good takeaway but then over roll the left forearm to the top?? Or do you need forearm roll to the top?? I've worked hard on my takeaway but feel like I over rotate the left arm to the top! Cheers
@davidmarshall69413 жыл бұрын
Great video Jonathan and I have asked this question before do you not rotate the forearm at all between P2 and to the top of the swing? If I don’t rotate the forearm I have to consciously lift the arms to get into position at the top - is this correct?
@jchowngolf3 жыл бұрын
Thanks David. You can have a very slight forearm roll mid backswing, but if your hands are shooting up vertically without it, it sounds like you’re not fully turning

LPGA Opne champ Yuka Saso has crazy strong hip turn in her downswing. She says its responsible for 40-50 yards driver distance over her old arms swing, with much more consistent ball flight. What are some drills to start incorporating this into my armsy swing? Thanks

She’s got an awesome swing! Check out some of my clearing the hip videos 👍🏼

I’ve been implementing tons of your stuff with success. But oddly my feel in transition is a wide open face in transition all the way into the finish. But I’m finally getting really nice and shallow and drawing the ball. Is this because feel isn’t real ?

Awesome to hear! Feel vs real is certainly a crazy thing!
