Their keys are so far apart, and they tried to get it in G for JC and that isn't his best key. He does a lot of searching, you can hear it when he sings. And as much as I loved him, I agree with professional vocals....but boy, there is nobody that can sing those Johnny Cash songs like he can.....he owns songs when he does them right...this isn't one of them for sure.

@@taxisteve929 Do you remember when he first started he used to hum before he started singing. That's because he was searching for the key ! He never did have the best voice although it was sufficient for the songs he did. Merle had a whole lot better voice.

my folks watched this live , was normal on FREE television along w many other shows Christian was normal part of every day life, no not too long ago, was in my lifetime remember seeing this weekly! every show of JCash ended with Christian song by Johnny Cash's doing. 2024- song for times in now : ) for all. In Johnny's case, it WAS two kids and a wife because he had one brother named Jack. His brother wanted to be a minister, but that didn't happen because he passed away when he was a kid. Take care and God loves you.
