I used to practice Silat and Escrima for fighting. I got into internal martial arts and now I mostly just practice Taiji.

Interesting set. Looks like this came from Qigong forms. Would you mind explaining how you first learned of this and how long you have been practicing this stick form. Have you noted any benefits from using the stick as compared to performing QiGOng with out the stick?

Yes this is based on Qigong, I began practicing Oct. 2019. Using the stick forces you to move both sides of the body equally, my flexibility and balance has increased dramatically. I will be putting up another video soon with more details. Thanks for commenting!

I love practicing Qigong , and this exercise has now become my routine as well. It’s fun , it’s interesting and good stretch in the morning . Thank you very much. ( with modesty ) How old were you when you posted this workout ? Does the sequence matters ? Sometimes I may do one movement before the other. I use my broom stick … is that ok ? Otherwise where can I buy the proper stick and how much does it cost ? Would love to see more similar videos .

I will say I feel younger than when I started, almost 2 years ago. Along with stick, I practice tai chi, Qigong , and other exercises.

Look for a 6' x 1 1/4" closet pole at a home improvement store, cut it to your height or the length of your arms. I sanded and oiled mine, rubber tips I had to order online.
