This is a miracle of a video! You are the only person I’ve discovered in my journey so far who understands EDS and hypermobile bodies who can also guide someone to safely and effectively do yoga and movement to ease pain and support strengthening!!! I’m so grateful and will share this with whoever wants and needs it! ❤️🙏🏼❤️

@@JeannieDiBonHypermobility No doctor ever mentioned POTS or EDS, but I had/have this burning "blow torch" pain in occipital and upper rhomboids area since 1989, and throughout my 35-year production typing medical transcription career. I spent every 15 minute break and lunch time lying on my back with a timer to settle down the burning so I could finish work every day. Now at age 70, was diagnosed with small fiber peripheral polyneuropathy and occipital neuralgia last year, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1991. Throughout most of this, docs have rolled their eyes at me, assuming i was faking.

Thank you for the video. I find it very helpful when you show what to NOT do and how to focus on proper movement. Having that visual is very beneficial!

Thank you Jeannie I’m so grateful to have found the coat hanger pain exercises. I’ve had this pain since I was 13. I’m now 76. I was diagnosed with hypermobility at 50. I’ve been through PT…….hopeless, Yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique …… I learned a lot but they weren’t great. Feldenkrais and Bones for Life both are great but not as strengthening or as perfect for the hyper mobile body as your Integral Movement Method THANK YOU

I feel so amazing after doing your exercises. I've seen over 5 physical therapists since 2016 and they have all told me to do the opposite of these things. I'm starting to watch two of your videos a day for now and hopefully I can get your zebra club membership soon!

SO thankful that my sister turned me on to you, and this video!! I feel that my coat hanger pain is related to my migraines...so will start doing these exercises daily. Is it recommended to do the number of reps you illustrated in the video, or is it beneficial to do more of each, of the five? Thank you!
@JeannieDiBonHypermobility2 ай бұрын
You are so welcome! Start low with reps and listen to your body.

Thanks I’d got out the habit of doing similar set you showed 18 months ago after a webinar. I’d been doing it regularly and it helped so much I forgot I had such an issue and lost the good habit of doing it 3 times a week. I’m glad to restart with this new / developed set thank you. My solstice resolution is set .., to keep this up and watch videos I’ve missed

Thank you so much for this one! I am considering a breast reduction surgery because of coat hanger pain but I'm going to try and use your strength building exercises to see if I can avoid it by building my back muscles. You are just so wonderful!

I have some experience in somatics and I know that the connection between body and emotion can be really crazy sometimes but… is there any reason that these exercises would cause someone to start sobbing uncontrollably? Haha are they related to somatic exercises at all? The coat hanger exercise, once you explained not to engage the glutes and use the neck to lift… when I felt those muscles activate it suddenly and unexpectedly made me cry like a baby?? Haha
