I love this block, so very pretty!!! I have to tell you Jean, that I convinced my sister to start her first quilt like I’m doing, so we spent morning at the fabric store and helped her pick her fabrics and get all the sewing tools that she will need. I’m so excited that we will be doing this together, she means the world to me. So once again I want to thank you for what you’re doing for us!!!! 💚

I have gone back and watched some of your previous videos, my Beautiful, sweet and kind Grandma used flour sacks, as baby tops for her babies. She and Grandpa had 11 children, 9 grew to adulthood. Thanks for your knowledge. I appreciate your honesty, and candor about fabric, thread, building your knowledge, and experimenting with fabric. Thanks Jean! I pray all is well with you and your family.

Thank you for that Laura! You will find zero Quilt Police in my sewing room! :) Quilts made with love and passion and skipped stitches and wonky points, made with fabrics found that are loved....that's MY definition of Perfection! :) ****Been so so very windy here in PA...I really didn't sleep last night, worried our roof was blowing off!!! But all is well, so I'm keeping the home fires burning (literally) and staying warm and quilting~:) Keep safe and warm~:)

Just finished doing block party 2018 and started this years. Thanks so much I am not a beginner quilter been doing for about 6 years. My brain doesn't work like a normal person. It takes me a while to figure out the 3/8, 1/16" and triangles when setting the pattern. You're a god sent showing exactly where the 3/8". I get a lot of tips from MSQC. Her tutorials are like yours easy to understand.

@@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory Yes very much. I love block # 9. It took me awhile to wrap my brain around it. With your help and the way you go over it I finally got it. Thanks so much....You are my Angel. I have made several blocks. I went to the episodes you stated to learn more ideas. Like the Jelly roll one. You're a wonderful teacher. I love when your family and Jen shows up. You can feel the love you all have for each other. I'm going to donate the quilt from 2018 and 2019. Using all my scraps and material I got from Walmart, Joann, etc. At that time is what I could afford. Now get it from MSQC. Have a lovely day.

I'm trying to teach the TWO RULER method for the block party, because I know that most people don't have the Fiskars...but I sure wish they did!! LOL! And to have the 9 1/2" ruler...to get that 'TaDa' moment~~ The best feeling ever:) Thanks for sharing~!

Your tutorial is awesome❣️. I’ve seen in other patterns to cut 3/8” or 7/8”. What is the purpose for the odd number? Would it work using 1/4” or 1/2”?

Yes, always iron the fat quarters to get out those nasty fold lines. I don't know why it turned out dark....working on it! With many multiple units in a block I will square them up, but with just a few no.
