I sewed the right and wrong sides together, then my pin wheel, didn't wheel! I figured I will get all my stupid stuff done on these blocks. After taking them apart a few times, they don't look too bad. Thanks for taking the time to teach.

Hi Jean ~ your blocks are looking great. The fabric store near me does not carry fat quarters for a fabric line. I probably need to buy yardage. I was thinking black / white combo but will need to see what they have in store. Thanks for the videos and taking the time to get the math worked out!
@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory5 жыл бұрын
Jen was going to make a black and white one....but we couldn't find any really nice fabric for her. Black and whites are tough, you may find~ But keep searching! :) THank you for sharing :)

I decided since I am cooped up to do the block party........in blue and white. That being said my blocks are all off a tad. On some blocks they match up seam to seam like they should on two sides but not the other two sides. Should I square them all to 9 inches or maybe 9 1/8......or will it really matter after putting on the smashing? Thanks Jean
@ireneponzi35564 жыл бұрын
I meant sashing 🥴🤨
@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory4 жыл бұрын
Good for you for making one!! As long as the blocks are ALL the same size at the end of the day...and then you make the SASHING (LOL!) the same length/size, you will be fine. So just pick a number you are comfortable with. You probably WILL cut off some points....but in the big scheme of things.....does that matter??!!? LOL! All the best:) Keep safe:)

Jean Truelove thanks Jean........I wish you were my neighbor. I am teaching myself quilting from your videos. I will send you a picture when it is done....be well!

I am confused myself, you never stated how big the 1/2 square triangles should measure. 3.75 inches in block 5 and 3.5 in block 6?
