I was always a truck guy until i bought my first Jeep. A 79 Cj7 Golden Eagle with a 360 , Edelbrock 4 barrel and of course headers with side turn outs at the doors. That was the funest vehicle I ever owned!!!!

I understand why they took full episodes off of KZbin. At the same time tho, I feel like they got more views here than on the other platform. Roadkill being on KZbin was what made it Roadkill. It wasn’t some flashy “this is how you do this, this, and this” kinda show. It was fun, dirty, halfassed car Hackery, but most of all. It was relatable. Some of the people could relate to driving all the way to summit racing HQ in Ohio, in a car that’s running on 7 cylinders, park said car in the parking lot of summit racing, rip the motor out in below freezing temperatures, go inside, buy the motor you preordered, install it, then drive all the way back home. That was the glory of roadkill.

Yeah, I do to.. Roadkill has a new segment on Friday evening called junkyard gold, and is awesome as well. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it and is with classic car authority Steve Magnante and tracks down cars for the Roadkill crew to build for future projects on the show. As we know, they build many different vehicles on there. But really like it that they feature a lot of Mopars, and Freiburger is really into them to. Anyway, check it out if you haven't seen it and am sure that you will like it

I had a CJ5 with a one piece fiberglass tilt front end, a 4.3 Chevy engine, and some tool put a Saginaw 4 speed in it. It was scary AF to drive. This rig is gnarly!!
@xmo5522 жыл бұрын
How did you like the 4.3? I have a tpi to put in mine but I'm thinking a 4.3 or some Buick v6 might be enough.
@turbolq42 жыл бұрын
@@xmo552 The 4.3 was plenty strong in the ol 5er. They make good torque down low and pull pretty well when you run the rpms up too. Kinda nice to keep some weight off of the front end as well. I'd prefer that TPI though. That's the engine Chevy should have put into their trucks instead of the TBI.

For a long time I've been trying to figure out where I have seen Freiberger before, or at least who he reminds me of. He reminds me of the guitar player in Cheap Trick, the one who wears the ball cap. (rick neilson) Perhaps that IS a young Freiberger before his hot rod phase of life.

You both look tired, exhausted - and are trying to overplay it? So the viewer doesn't see? Seems your business now runs you. To much dates, team meetings, planung, team-meetings, video editing, boring interviews with people who haven't got a clue, money struggle? Time for a brake? Or just say goodbye and let go? And you are getting old, just like we do, so we see your bones cracking, when you moove, 'restrictions of moovement when getting up or mooving' some would say? No, not elderly people yet - but close/closer? You used to be free people - and very special ones amongst the very free. We loved you.
