Jeep Renegade Off-Road at Spaas Creek, Kentucky.

The Kentucky JROG decided to step up the game and attempt to do Spaas Creek and Pumpkin Hollow in one day. We were very excited but became a little concerned since it started to rain heavily days before our trail day. We knew we would be facing a more difficult trail for our little toasters but we did not back down. We were told to wait until the weather was better but we decided to test our Renegades anyway.
We ran into a severely wet terrain with lots of puddles and mud. I even sunk my leg into the mud and I almost went as deep as my knee, I almost left my boot there. Our team was formed by three renegades, one liberty, one very well kept CJ, two Cherokees (different years) and another wrangler.
The terrain proved to be slushy and slippery at some points but nothing we could not handle, there was not recovery at any point and we all made it through with no assistance. The renegades handled it very well and better than we expected, we were able to record some really awesome shots demonstrating how cool these little Jeeps really are.
Spass Creek was a fun and successful trail, one to keep in our trail memory book.

We drove this trail a couple weeks ago. It is amazing to see how much it has changed in a year! We were pulling a trailer - not familiar with the area and didn't realize what we were getting into, lol! We made it through with just a little damage. Great video! Thanks for sharing

Have you done Nemo Tunnel or Windrock yet? We are taking my wife's Rene this time on the weekend of June 10th if any other Renegades want to join. We took my JK the first time to Nemo. This will be our first time at Windrock. We are also tent camping at Windrock park. If you have been any tips would be great.

Spaas Creek is located East of Winchester, it is part of the Daniel Boone national forest.

It’s funny people think renegades can’t handle trails like this haha. They can Ford 19” of water/mud and are narrower than a lot of other vehicles… I’d say they’re perfect for these trails! They’re not rock crawlers, but they sure can keep up.
