I have a 98.5 classic, and thankfully its been mostly trouble free, Ive had to do my share of repairs over the past 23 years, but, it's worth it. BTW, loved the music, keep it coming, any Jeep follower will love the music.

Nice job, I scrolled through the comments and found out where you got the cross member but might not be a bad idea to put it on the description. And this is just person preference, I like the music but if you could lower that level a few notches to hear the original audio of the tools it would be great. Keep them coming

Oh man... I'd see if you can unbolt the motor assembly and get it out of door 1st. Then try to disassemble it to free up movement of the glass maybe?.?. It's just a worm gear that drives the glass up and down. Just be careful and make sure glass doesn't come down to fast and maybe crack or break. You can unbolt the glass slide supports and see if the whole unit drops down enough to get to glass bolts too. Good luck! Hope you can get it fixed

Bought a Dorman replacement and absolutely nothing lined up, kid at parts store says it's aftermarket you'll probably have to drill new holes. For 120 bucks you'd think atleast 2 bolt holes would line up in a row...nope! Should have called the dealer for parts..

How do you get the bolt out of the window where the regulator arm in fastened

I can't recall totally how I did this but it has 2 bolts that hold the glass to the assembly and 3 bolts I think that hold the assembly to the door. I was able to help the glass move up and down a little while hitting the button to gain access to the 2 glass bolts. It was a easy project and also like solving a puzzle sometimes to get to bolts and move things around to fit. Hope this helps!

@@nextweeksadventure My Jeep is a 1990 Cheroke. It has 1 bolt fastned to the window from the regulator. The Factory put Loctite on it. Is there an easy easy way to remove this?

@@tds3479 if it was me doing it I would start with my impact driver on it. Cross my fingers it pops loose and doesn't break the glass. I'd avoid a ratchet wrench because it may strip the nut or raise the chance of breaking glass. It's really a hope for the best situation but I think a small impact driver would do it. Hope you can get it without issues 🤞

An impact drill would not break it loose The fasner would just spin. You have to HEAT IT UP TO SOFTEN THE LOCTITE. THEN YOU CAN HOLD THE FASENER ON THE BACk WITH A PAIR OF NEEDLE NOSE vice grips and then use an impact drill.
