Amy Elik i mean it’s understandable tho,, the thing is hoshi isnt the only one choreographing their choreos - he works with 1-2 other choreographers as well
@emrykin71274 жыл бұрын
LINH VU he’s one of the main choreographers for their songs though despite taking direction sometimes. I just kind of think of it as him being the focus choreographer with the final decision. Sadly I think now it’s harder the more they become popular, time is valuable and having such complex choreographies created by one person all the time can put a lot of pressure on them so I think it’s smart he can bring other ppl in to help now. Though he has said in interviews that he feels like he has disappointed Carats doing it that way but I’m glad he has others to rely on.
@LINHVU30064 жыл бұрын
Emry Kin oh yea i as a carat i do know very well that he’s one of the main choreographers and not the only choreographer. my point wasn’t to say that he shouldn’t be getting help because choreographers working tgt will give better result in the end + it’s a way for him to learn from his senior choreographers. i was referring to how the OP said matter-of-factly that hoshi is the choreographer of this, as if he was the only one choreographing, when in actuality there were other people working with him as well. it was valid of jeff to question whether hoshi choreographed this song

Fun fact: Woozi was meant to be on the performance (dance) unit, but he's fully in charge of the musical aspect (producing all of their songs) so the company put him as the leader of the vocal unit instead. Just wanted to point that out cause i think his dancing skills are pretty underrated even tho he was going to be a part of the performance unit. Kinda glad you recognized him cause in my opinion (outside the performance unit) he's one of their best dancers. Btw, Woozi and Joshua were the ones doing the splits ;) Ps. English is not my main language so sometimes i get pretty confused with "in" and "on" so i hope this was correct 😂 As usual, love ur reactions Jeff, take care! ❤

@laradedios48134 жыл бұрын
i really love the way that you appreciate seventeen's versatility. seventeen pays great attention in the kind of music they put out and the kind of messages they want to share so they really don't stick to one genre. they have been under fire for not putting out songs like don't wanna cry when it came out because it was what the public wanted but they continued to explore different styles of music as well as different types of dances. please react to "Snap Shoot" (only dance practice though) and "Pretty U" next as these two are very theatrical-like and shows their playful, creative side as performers. "Thanks" and "Home" are also songs that are similar to "Don't Wanna Cry" in terms of music and dance style. and i think you would appreciate the imagery and symbolism they put into the choreography as a performer. even their formations have meanings ((: "Getting Closer" and "Call Call Call" are very "Hit"-like as they are very powerful songs that need just as powerful dance moves. thanks so much for appreciating Seventeen

The appreciation you show for their choreography and explanation for the details in the movements makes me learn more as a viewer. Svt excels in portraying the feelings of their music which is why i enjoy seeing their performances a lot. They put so much thought into what song they want to put out next in their comebacks which is why they aren’t limited to one genre. You said that their songs seem to be different each time and for me it’s a great thing since I listen to a wide range of music. I just love how they never stick to one type of thing but explore their options when it comes to music. That’s the beauty of their creativity as artists who are freely allowed to make their music and own choreography

Woozi said that Fear is not necessarily about just love between two people but about anything you love in life, like fear of losing something you cherish. This is what I like about svt music, the meanings of the songs don't always stick to the same targets, like they can be applied to so many things in the listener's life, like it seems like love at first but it can just simply be comfort (their prev album you make my dawn is a good example). That's why I recommend you to listen to their bsides in your free time, very relaxing and soothing (non hiphop/rap songs at least). And yeah Fear is not my most favorite title track from SVT, though the bsides from An Odede are very good (instrumentals) and meaningful (lyrics), contributing to the meaning of a sincere poem to the listeners/carats. It may seem overrrated but this album is overall better than previous ones, I feel like all the songs have a stronger connection since svt used a very mature concept compared to prev albums. But all of their albums are still amazing nonetheless, I just think that the meaning and concept are stronger in this one, very poetic just like its name. Woozi and Joshua were the ones doing the "split", hitting the high note before chorus part 1 was seungkwan, part 2 was dk. The one that you keep saying hoshi was actually seungkwan, hoshi's face is fairly full and his eyes are slanted up. Btw that was not cockroach, it's a beatle. I enjoyed this reaction and can't wait for the next one!!
