thank you so much for this. Just in time for Eid 2020. My mom and I will be trying this recipe and I will update you on our success. So far, I think the tricky parts would be (i) shaping after letting the dough rest and (ii) the phag.: the phag is usually the biggest headache for us with respect to barfi and gulab Jamoon. Will you be doing a video for Barfi? Thanks agian

No no you are right... I know different places consider gulab jamoon to be something else. Actually right here in Trinidad many would say this isn’t gulab jamoon but the majority of us here refer to it as gulab jamoon
