So beautiful to watch. I am a fan of both Patrick and Jennifer. He was watching over her that night and smiling down. Derek was so wonderful with Jennifer and knew how much her emotions were running and thinking back of the time with Patrick. Jennifer and Derek were perfect together and I voted for them every week. Patrick is still missed to this day and he was so handsome and a terrific actor. My heart still goes out to his family. He will never ever be forgotten through his songs and movies.

Jennifer's tears are the most pure, intense and heartbreaking when it comes to Patrick's death. It shows how close she was to him and how much pain she was in after losing him. Johnny Castle forever.
@LEDANCETHERAPY12 жыл бұрын
Wow that was so sad. Patrick Swayze was a very special person and will always be remembered fondly for the great spirit he brought to the character of Johnny Castle. One of the nice things about being a performer is you leave that kind of legacy and impression and it never dies even long after they are gone. RIP PS.

I don't think they HATED each other but Patrick who was a pro by that time said himself Jennifer was a bit childish at times but admitted he could understand the fact that she was still an amateur at that point. The media just always has to blow things way out of proportion or make up their own facts. I know I read once that Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer disliked working together on The Sound of Music but Chris in interviews say that isn't true he only disliked the distant and cold character he had to play and the amount of time it took to get the scenes done and working with Julie was very "teasing" because they crushed on each other and that is why they had such amazing onscreen chemistry but Julie was married so that was what he didn't like about working with her hahaha but 50 years later and they are still the best of friends. I think the same thing happened with Patrick and Jen, he didn't very much enjoy the making of the movie because he was working with an amateur and he sort of had to mentor her a lot and keep control constantly but after the movie came out they still remained close friends.

Holly Lute Theres a difference between not really being each other's cup of tea and ''disliking'' each other. I'm pretty sure they didn't dislike each other, none of them did anything wrong. They probably just didn't really go together because they were different as people. But they were still coworkers who not only had a very intimate relationship in the movie, but also just spent a lot of time together. He passed way too young. RIP Patrick :((
