What a fun reaction. I thought they did a great job of portraying the menace of Scar but also the cluelessness of the hyenas, especially Cesar who is definitely playing Ed, the dimwitted one. Be sure to watch out for the short or mini that they have called shenanigans on the set (or something like that). it’s a blooper that they recorded and it’s really funny. You can really see the camaraderie between Mykal and Geoff.

21:04 When Layne's beatboxing seems to acquire lyrics, I'd call that scat. It has the same effect, anyway...just that it's included within the percussion, rather than featured as melodic section.

Jen; you're young enough to remember VHS's right? I was 8 years old when this came out in 1994, and I played the heck out of it. It's one of my top Disney animated movies and it's still hold a torch to this day; 30 years later. I didn't really like Scar's song as an 8 years old, but now as an 38 years old; it's right up my ally, and Geoff is doing it justice! Who am I kidding; the whole gang is doing it justice! Thank you again, for the R&A video and looking forward to the next one. It's gonna be a doozy. :D
