The best part of the fleury tribute was the absolute love he got from the crowd. Could have easily continued cheering for hours, didn't even notice the puck dropped! A funny guy, a hell of a goalie, and a real good person. He's got it all!! If the fans had to choose a goalie, I think most of us would pick the flower... Glad he's doing well in Vegas - he deserves to be the main goalie. We love you flower

That burrows one always make me cry ! I am a huge fan and I love him, he was and is an under dog! He was a really good player and had a heart for the game, he is my idol I met him twice ( once in my hometown and at a Canucks vs LA ) he said that I am his biggest fan and he gave me a jersey ( even though I already had one ) he signed it and my jersey and half of the other Canucks It was I think the 2014-2015 or 2015-16 season

Im not in that line of work, but from a fan's perspective, you want the memories rehashed, and the song to match it. Marleau's song was OK, and the vids ahd good clips with somewhat distracting and unnecessary effects. I get your point that marleus probably took more effort and skill, but IMO Fleury's was more emotional. Clips of winnings cups and Fleury's demeanor throughout his career may have helped the video too though.
