Actually inside the eye of a tornado there is no wind. You could hold a flag up and the only way it would move would be if you physically moved it yourself.

I live in nj (the same city pvp used to live in). The storm was really bad over here! a couple trees got knocked down, sheds got broken, it was really scary. A tree actually fell from my front yard all the way to my backyard and smashed our fence. About 10 feet of the ground came with the tree so now there's a big hole in the ground. I've never seen a storm so bad before. At one of the elementary schools about 20 feet of the concrete came up with a tree that fell over! It was really bad! So much thunder, lighting, wind and rain. Good thing we all stayed safe.

There is also branches all over the grass and in the streets. Someone's trampoline actually flew into a tree, another trampoline smashed a fence, and another trampoline flew into a major highway. Plus a (full size) soccer net flew into the middle of a highway. Lots of wires fell causing many people to have no power.

I live in Michigan and we got it terrible! There actually was a tornado! It was so scary when I was in my basement so many homes and trees were destroyed! My home did not get destroyed so I'm so thankful. A couple of tree branches fell down into my yard and onto my roof but there was no severe damage to my home. I just feel bad for all of my other neighbors whoes homes got destroyed
