Stefan’s death is so shocking because there’s NO warning and NO build up. It’s just a little tense and then BAM basically 1 of the 3 main characters is dead.

i remember when this episode came out and i watched stefan's heart get ripped out, i was in absolute shock, maybe because he's that one person who i could never imagine a death like this one happening to. i was so so shocked i refused to watch the next episode even though my cousins that i was watching this with reassured me that he's a protagonist and he couldn't have died. as of today tho (after an episode) you're starting the 6th one followed by the 7th😂 i don't know if you'll like them or not and i don't wanna spoil you but congrats to me i guess, these two are my all time favourite seasons in the whole show!!🤧

I completely agree with your reaction to Stefan's death. I was a bit shocked for a second then I didn't give a crap because it was a shit death and also it happened in the penultimate episode. For a main character like him to die in the second to last episode in this type of show, there was no way. If this had happened earlier in the season or maybe in the last episode then it would have meant something cause I would think he would be gone for a number of episodes.
