Stefan as Silas is actually Paul's personality, minus the whole murder/death stuff :D Yesterday there was a clip from his live, someone asked him about Madison Beer and he legit thought it was a type of beer and it gave me such Silas vibes, I cried laughing :P That scene with Nina in the same shot playing all three doppelgangers was BRILLIANT. They all have such different personalities, she' amazing!

I love how all the clues about being the anchor is there. Like Amara was scared of a Jeremy touching her because she was scared it would hurt her. When Silas died, Amara paused for a second and screamed in pain because Silas passed through her, and she’s constantly hearing voices or seeing people because she sees ghosts on the other side LOL gosh I love TVD lore!

It wasn't that serious LOL But there are a key differences if you want to take it this that seriously: Damon and Stefan hated each other back then and they had no tabs on each other at all, there were no cell phones to call people and to know when they are not picking up the phone, and there was no doppelganger having dreams and bad feelings about Stefan being in pain for months... So, there were ways for Damon and Elena to know that something was wrong here and there was no way for Stefan to know that Damon was a hostage for years: Also, Stefan is not confronting Damon and Elena for not saving him, he isn't blaming them... That's an internal thought that Stefan had, the hope that he had in that moment... And Elena understands it because the connection they have.

@@iambluegossip SPOILERS! Of course Damon and Elena were supposed to know that Stefan was missing, if not immediately, at least after some days, but they noticed only when Silas came to meet them. I mean when they moved on together, they both knew they hurt Stefan a lot, so shouldn't they check up on him just to see how he's doing? Even Bonnie/Jeremy were asking about him, but these two didn't care at all. And yes, you could blame Stefan for not finding Damon when he was one of the Augustine vampires, but you should remember that in the past, they were pretty estranged, not contacting each other for years, & only met once in a while when they both come to mystic falls for some dead relative's funeral. So yeah, that's that. But in Stefan's case, they were both at fault for him not being rescued for over 3 months.

Last I checked, Stefan didn't have his cell phone in that safe, for all they knew Stefan wanted to be left alone. Even his best friend, Caroline didn't check in and wasn't worried because they all felt it was best to let him lick his wounds as he wanted away from Damon and Elena. Did you not watch his last scene with Damon in the season finale? He literally talked as if it would be years before they met again. ALSO Stefan and Lexi kept tabs on Damon over the decades and could always find him. But they didn't notice that he disappeared from the face of the earth for several years? But guess who didn't hold that against Stefan.

Paul and Nina were terrific, they acted incredibly well, I love this season but I hate that they took away Silas, Amara and Tessa so quickly, after suffering for 2000 at least they made them live their love a little bit.

I get that it's interesting, but it would be nice if she would have a more balance in her story. Giving her a little break doesn't had to mean immediately no story for the character. Not every interesting storyline is equal with constant pain, lost, suffer etc Diversity it's a nice thing. In storylines too. Also there are different characters here which suffer a lot too, but in my opinion they are not pushed so hard like Bonnie every single time. But the way how Bonnie was treated has it's reasons in how the show writers tried do kicked Kat out all the time.

@@MsMojo014 then you don't like watching her. Honestly my biggest issue with this show is not giving Caroline, Matt or Tyler storylines. After Tyler's mom's death they just gave up on his story, and they clearly have nothing to do with Caroline. And this season they attempted something with Matt but that's already forgotten. We are literally on Bonnie right now, even Elena and Damon are secondary nothing happening with them. And if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time that bonnie has a storyline in which she is being physically tortured. At this point she's the only one who hasn't yet.

@@TheShiawasena she's been in pain in the last few episodes? Last time she had anything bad happen was when her estranged father died. Cmon now. This Bonnie is a victim narrative is seriously disturbing. Literally any and all storylines on this show means someone us being tortured. Bonnie has her anchor storyline and her relationship with Jeremy. How isn't that balance? And again if Caroline isn't being tortured or kidnapped or getting her heartbroken then shes barely on screen. Same for Matt. They just always make Tyler leave town when they can't torture him. Hell these few episodes haven't been Elena and Damon centered (meaning no one was trying to kill them) and so even they felt secondary to the Tessa and Silas storyline.

Paul is so great in that first scene. Nina did an amazing job in that Amara-Katherine-Elena-scene as well. That scene between Silas and Amara is one of the best in this series. They don't even kiss and their bond and love is still so genuine and deep. I would've wanted to see more of them in this season. I hate how much shit they put Bonnie through time and time again. I absolutely love the song that plays when she comes back to life, though. Katherine has been quite selfish before, nicely expressed, but I think that she wants to cut the ties to Nadia so quickly, because she knows she is going to die soon anyway, and doesn't want to make their bond too strong and increase her daughter's pain.

I love how this show manages to keep up such strong and captivating lore and mythology to their antagoists. Obviously this one is not nearly as amazing as the s1-2 Katherine arc and s2-3 Originals arc, but it still manages to be fresh and have cool plot twists. This is why this show was good for so long, because say what you want but TVD's ability to add fresh and unique storylines to the world they started in s1 is really challenging but the writers manage to do it well.

This Storyline Is the best one of them All, The CURE to vampirism, a literal 1 in a MILLION shot, almost never been heard of before thing, comes back around just as the Salvatores are in town. This is far more CAPTIVATING than learning about Some Ancient vampires from 1,000 years ago, or a Manipulative thottie from 1473. THIS IS THE CURE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE PEOPLE, AND FURTHERMORE, A WILD GOOSE CHASE😂!

Exactly with the revenge towards Klaus now Stefan has nothing in his head but the revenge towards Silas, it is right to want to take revenge both cases he suffered a lot, but strange because the impulsive is Damon where he often makes trouble and Stefan is temperamentally very reasonable, calm but when Stefan suffers he loses his reason and his calmness doesn't look anyone in the face anymore. Angry at Elena and Damon because they didn't have time to save him as if they knew, not appreciating however that as soon as they realized that he suffered and something had happened with him they went to save him.

I THINK there is a plot hole in the story of the Anchor. If every supernatural being must pass through the anchor to reach the Other Side, everyone who died knew that the anchor was Amara, including Bonnie herself, because she also died. At first I thought that they (as ghosts) lost "the memory" about the anchor when passing by it, but in the next episodes it is very clear that it does not happen and in the season it was never very explained. Like the other stories of this season, which were made in a hurry and without much explanation.
