Whey is not healthy, buy pure leucine if you must. Most of the anabolic action comes from leucine anyway. And peas are much cheaper source of protein. And much healthier.

If you wanna get sups get the following: Beta-Alanin, Betaine, NAC, Magnesium-Theorate, D3, K2, Creatine, Citrullin, Zinc-Histidin, a pea protein powder (if you don't want to live on shrimp, salmon and beans), a good omega 3 and 6 sups (DHA/EPA, AA forms respectively) since while 6 is cheap to get from like eggs, 3 eggs still have 500mg~ cholesterol and just unecessary lipids that your body has to deal with. Other things don't make sense rn apart from Boswellic acid maybe but nobody is truly sure about it and the lab dosages you will simply be unable to get. You easily get your vit c with just eating 250g of raw broc, omegas with salmon and wild meat since they are ultra low cholesterol, shrimps if you ain't about eating a ton of beans since shrimps weirdly are pure phytocholesterol. Caffein makes zero sense because it constricts your arteries, it actively reduces your bodys ability to bring nutrients to your muscles and body. Nitrate is an idea but 200g carrots has more than youll need. A diet ain't hard to put together, Chromometer is fairly accurate but deffo is off like 15% of the time in soke aspects

The main thing with protein shakes (whey/soy/pea/etc) isn't that they will help build muscle, because they likely won't, but they are LEAN. Whole foods can get you the same protein amount, but there's generally significantly more calories per gram of protein intake from those whole foods. For example, you might choose a chicken thigh, and saute it in some oil... That's 28g of protein, about the same as most protein scoops, but it's 240 ish calories. Whereas that scoop of protein is 120 or so. And it's an even bigger difference if you're looking at high calorie meats like ground beef. So when you're bulking and trying to get that calorie surplus, just eat the food. Crush those micronutrients, eat lots of meats and veggies and get the fiber and enjoy life. When you're cutting down, keeping that protein up at 0.8-1.2 g/lb can be hard in a deficit. For a 200lb person, 200g of protein is already 800 calories, and when dieting hard that could be over a third of your calories. And if you try to get that with 80/20 beef, it's all of your calories for the entire day. So when you look at protein powder don't think "gains" think "lean" and it will work.

It’s nothing to worry about, nothing more than a myth. There’s no evidence it’s just one study showed that taking creatine increases DHT (involved in balding) in some men. The men that had more DHT had family histories of losing hair at young ages. The findings of the study have never been replicated so there’s nothing to suggest that creatine does increase DHT or make you lose hair. Nothing to worry about especially if none of the men in your family have lost their hair early on (this is all from memory, search YT if you’d like more details)
@songsofthecentury39094 жыл бұрын
No studies to prove that since creatine is made of 3 amino acids, why the hell would it cause hair loss? Bodybuilders lose hair because they use steroids like Tren which cause hair loss. Also going into a big caloric deficit can cause Hypothyroidism which results in hair loss.

The fat-burners and other supplements being touted on late-night infomercials are often full of hype, which is why you should read online reviews carefully before you buy. Taking one supplement isn't likely to make a huge difference, anyway. What does matter is improving your diet and exercise habits overall so that you burn more calories throughout your day. When it comes down to fat loss and muscle gain, taking a pill doesn't really work miracles-the real miracle worker is your body. And that's what these supplements are supposed to help maximize: not just weight loss but all of your body's natural processes in regards to fat burning and muscle growth.* *Always consult with a doctor or physician before starting any type of supplementation routine.

Thx for the amazing and very informative video my bro.... when it comes to l carnitine and BCAA...both are pre work out supplements.. but what confuses me is both are said to be taken as pre workout before 30 minutes before we hit the gym... but should I take both together.... is it advisable... pls advise... thx in advance my bro!!

Don't you think that their is enough Taurin in meat, dairy and eggs already tho?
@andreykashin17294 жыл бұрын
@@mikeyvesperlick6982 Not if you are doing medium intensive workouts for long periods of time such as cycling and swimming. Kind of like with Creatine, there is a lot in meat, but it's not enough if you are doing intense activities. There have been trials suggesting Taurine helps, although results vary and experts are split with this one. There is no consensus on this, the jury is still out. The same is not true with BCAA's, however. There is plenty in your whey protein supplements.

Can I use plant-based protein as a substitute of whey protein to get same result?
@darkninja___2 жыл бұрын
Yes, although plant based proteins are worse quality because of absorbtion and leucine content being low but you can make up for that by just having extra protein each day. Or, you can take pea protein powder or “vegan whey” and those are the same quality as regular whey protein powder.

Are the labels on supplements (such as amount of protein) accurate? I feel anxious when buying since I might just be consuming dirt instead of protein.
@Razrman4 жыл бұрын
Neil Vicente Cabasag Even I have always wondered that. And I haven’t really felt any lack of gains going off protein powders but seen a lot of difference if I eat less protein for a prolonged period making me conclude that the powder does little to nothing for muscle gains.
