@jodib4445 I was not rude. I had an opinion. He doesn't even have artwork on the walls of the guest bedroom and I felt that those bedside lamps were too short to provide balance to the room. That's MY taste. He is outstanding at storage and organizing, though. I would certainly hope to always speak my mind, as long as it is NOT intended to hurt anyone's feelings.

New flooring is beautiful. I can’t believe the sub-standard paint The Villages uses inside and out on their new homes. For that price, they should be using top of the line paint and finishes. Not the case. Farrow and Ball paint has lovely colors, but we have wonderful domestic paint brands, even the Behr brand is excellent. I’m very glad things have worked out for you, Michael. That blue he chose for the walls in other parts of the house is beuaitful! Door insert is fabulous. That heron sculrpture is gorgeous, too. The only 2 things I think he needs is an aea rug in the living room, and he's in desperate need of some drapes, those winows are nekkid as a jaybird.

I remember this video, and I thought then till just about 10 seconds ago, that a "birdcage" was an actual birdcage that holds birds, you know a SMALL cage. So, they say if you learn something new every day, you'll live longer, this is my "learn" for the day Jerry and Linda. LOL A birdcage is in fact, meant to be other things then something you hold your Parrot in. tee heeee....Here in Central Illinois, I guess I would have called that an enclosed patio. Cute. We were told by people we know here that when we moved in we'd have a steady stream of neighbors knocking on our door to welcome us. Not one person did. We moved in a year after everyone else so we figured neighborhood friendships had already been established. So we decided that we would go around and shake hands. We also went daily to the pool, and attended every gathering we could think of. We've been here for 5 months now and we have friends and activities that keep us busy. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself to people- people here want to meet you and befriend you.

Love what he's done with the house! Richmond is the ONLY new neighborhood I would consider, due to its excellent location. Michael's closets are AMAZING! I would also love to have a world map of all the places we've visited - I have a space reserved for it in my "dream" Lantana home. I would love some garage cabinets like Michael's for my plug in countertop appliances. I also prefer the dark birdcage to the white one. I see that the door is not shut on the birdcage - Hope he didn't get any snakes in the lanai! Jerry, could you please reference your golf cart video where you recommend all the desired upgrades?
