It hurt me to watch this video. I think it is the hardest one to watch of all that you have done. Maybe it was the thought of $1,800.00 going down the drain a little more each time you removed another layer. Lol I must admit it was interesting and I think I might go ahead and buy it. I can't remember how much it was at the store in the mall but I don't think it would come out to $1,800.00 after the exchange rate to the Thai Baht. If I remember correctly it will be under $1,000.00.

I have a zfold3. Yesterday I left it on top of my car when I was pumping gas and drove off. As I pulled into the main road I could hear the phone fall off of my cabin and hit my trunk before landing in the road. I immediately knew I had left my phone on my car and pulled over to try and get it. I ran into the road to pick it up, and could see tire prints on the front screen but to my surprise it still turns on and no usability is lost. Definitely one of the most impressive electronic devices I've ever owned.

Yes they really did a great job, I work in the engineering field but nothing like this. People are so quick to say what could have been done better but usually that was considered but the big picture did not allow for it such as not having space, time, or too much cost. Mechanics are famous for this. Yeah we could have put that component in an easier location if you don't mind the extra weight, cost, and size. Nobody considers the cost to replace a starter at 100k+ miles when purchasing a new vehicle so for an OEM to spend extra to make it easier to change provides no perceived value to the customer therefore they aren't willing to pay extra for it. By the same token yes we could make just about anything last forever but again too expensive etc.

Isopropyl alcohol doesn’t actually dissolve the glue holding in the battery, instead it permeates in between the battery and the glue because of its low surface tension and breaks the vacuum between the glue and the battery.

@@JerryRigEverything It’s not the surface tension that permeates it’s the lack off. Water has a high surface tension that forms a barrier that prevents it from permeating between the glue and the battery. Adding some dish soap to water will remove the surface tension making it able to permeate and break the vacuum just like isopropyl alcohol. This is why the effect is instant and you won’t end up with a glue isopropyl alcohol solution.
