That place is legendary, discovered it on my Birthright trip in 2018 and couldn't stop thinking about it for 4 years, went back summer 2022 after graduating university and it's genuinely one of the best things i've ever eaten -- right next to Aricha Sabich there's a bunch of good shawarma places too

@@DanielSRosehill I read somewhere, I think it was on Secret Jerusalem, that there is a really good falafel place past the bus station near the old Lifta abandoned village. I'll check it out next time I'm in Jerusalem.

Not too hard to try at home. I forgot to mention that amba (fermented mango sauce) is another extremely popular accompaniment!
