We just got back and the food there is incredibly delicious. I found out that in Israel they grow for quality not quantity and most of their produce is not GMO the tastes will blow your mind! The pita has ruined me and the Jerusalem Bagels are astonishingly delicious. I found recipes on KZbin 😊

The 3rd place, the sign is in Hebrew, what's it called in English?
@NomadTravelAdventure6 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the question! Unfortunately I can't read Hebrew so I have no idea. The only thing I do know is that it was delicious... I think you can find it just outside the corner of the food market. If you can go, it was definitely my favorite :)
Pronounced “Falafel HoAchim Levi,” meaning “The Levi brothers’ falafel.”

@NomadTravelAdventure5 жыл бұрын
I just spoke English and even though not everyone knew how to speak it, I was still able to get around!

As an Israeli, living in Yerushalyim, I will state that most Israelis are happy to speak English. You should be fine.

Zaina, I'm an Arab Israeli Jew . My Jewish family roots go back 100's years in Baghdad and Basra (Iraq), and have a very rich heritage. I don't "cancel" other cultures or religions. When we'll stop spreading hate, and false information, the wold will be a better place.

@@jackys8277 when you stop being a part of a racist occupational genocide, the world will be a better place
@lt83202 жыл бұрын
@@jackys8277 No my friend you just confirm what Zaina just said, as you just said your family is from Baghdad and you are jewish.... beeing jewish is not a nationality to claim a roote to, the phalestinians hebroes are from this country but just because the hebroes are jewish doesn't mean that every jewish is hebroe otherwise every christian in the world would say that Jerusalem is their country as well and every muslim in the world would say the same ... Palestina is the country for the palesstinians rather they are jewish muslim christians or other believs, because today you can never say that every jewish is hebroe as tou also claimed the rase of (SEM) wich is for arabs, hebroes, aramies, assyrians, keldanians with many more.... We don't buy that and we are happy to tell about it when possible. But we know (as you surly know) that the promissed SECOND wave will happen and this theater will end and everybody will see his place. Beside that I wish you a very good day cousin.

@NomadTravelAdventure6 жыл бұрын
Well it was definitely delicious regardless! 😋

Please provide your proof of falafel having originated in Palestine. It is easy to sit there and make claims online. It's entirely different when someone asks you to provide proof. Let's see you provide proof.
@mohammedabuhendi8406 жыл бұрын
@@JoshLavian does your grand mother know how to make falafel? all Palestinian women know how to make falafel. before 1948 the so called "Israel" does not exist.

So just saw this whole chat thing going on and I just wanted to clarify that this video is regarding where the best place to eat a falafel in Jerusalem, Israel. It really has nothing to do with the origins so let's play nice 😃

Ok so it's just a way to describe the general idea, I mean it's definitely not a tortilla but it is round, made out of flour, and you put things in it! 😀😁😀
