Took my DNA test with 23&Me. Very surprised but not at the same time. I knew I had some Chinese in my DNA but the Vietnamese part was the surprise. I am 61% Dai Chinese, 37.6% Vietnamese and only 1.4% Lao. The whole time I thought I was at least 80% Lao but then real Lao people come from area of southwestern part of China. Not all Lao will have higher percentage of Chinese so it depends on your ancestors. Take the test. I think you’ll be surprised too.
