Calling that number is a waste of time. Instead, do something that is working - attack the sponsors of the debates. Two of the original ten have already withdrawn this week (BBH New York, an advertising agency, and the YWCA). Join the attack - do something effective - join the Facebook group 'Help the Commission on Presidential Debates do its job' and follow the directions there. One email or less a day. Two sponsors down. Only eight to go. Do it.

I have called and got an answering machine. Did leave message asking why ALL presidential candidates were not included in the debates. Also stated that I want Gary Johnson in the debates and as Americans we have the RIGHT to hear ALL presidential candidates in order to make an informed decision. However, don't think I will leave it at that. I WILL keep calling until I reach a person. MY VOICE WILL BE HEARD!!!

The Problem with the Commission on Presidential Debates is that it was formed by the Republicans and Democrats after the League of Women Voters pulled out from sponsoring the 1988 debates because they wouldn't go along with a list of restrictions and rules that the two major party candidates had agreed on. After Perot got 20% of the vote in 1992, they quickly made it much harder for 3rd parties to be included. As such, we haven't had one in a debate in 20 years.

So is Ron Paul running in 2016 because he's not running this year? Do you really think RP is writing in his own name for President? How many state ballots is he on? You have to ask yourself: Do you support liberty or do you support Ron Paul? If the first, then you'll vote for candidates devoted to liberty of the latter then you'll vote for RP.

I called and called and finally got through. I had to leave a message. There are approximately 18 MILLION AMERICANS who are polled as supporting Johnson, yet the commission will not let him debate. What kind of democracy do we have where 18 Million People are left out? End the Republican and Democrat Monopoly Now!

I called ad asked if they're allowing Gary Johnson in the debate yet and they told me to view their press releases at debates.org. The individual I spoke with was very short because he said he wanted to give all the other supporters an opportunity to speak with him as well. Either way, he said he would pass my support to his supervisor, which I suppose is a good thing.

rovoojoy, you sound like you have problems. Ron Paul is well known for his humbleness and modesty and he always said this was a liberty movement, NOT a Ron Paul movement. In fact Paul's modesty probably hurt him since he didn't go around bragging he predicted the collapse of the housing market.

Last night I got a busy signal, this morning I got the voice mailbox - which was full. I could not leave a message. Then I tried 0 for the operator, again a full mail box no message. I finally tried a bunch of different extensions and finally hit a valid one; ext 12. I left a message there.

I really appreciate that great sentiment, but I'm not going to waste my minutes talking to them. They want to keep Johnson out of the debate for the exact same reason I want him in the debates. He will challenge the status quo. They don't want that and they don't care what I or anyone else thinks.

I am down with the movement. Ron Paul was the catalyst that sparked me into action in 2008, since then I have read, studied, and actively campaigned for Liberty. Johnson is a great candidate and should be allowed to speak! We're with you Gary.
