Perfect timing 🥰 I've been looking down the road and realizing that I need to get a job that will allow me to be a stay at home mom and chief breadwinner for a time so it frees my husband up to begin the board game/coffee shop we have dreamed of opening together. So I've started a side hustle now to grow it into a main hustle so that when the time comes I can quit my job and he can eventually quit his to start our dream business. Thanks for the ideas and encouragement! ❤

As a cosmetic tattooist and trainee cosmetic nurse do you think starting a KZbin channel and creating digital products and templates geared towards salons and clinics and therapists/clinicians etc… so digital appointment books and planners etc and training manuals for brow mapping/training e-books for lash extensions or tattooing etc… would be successful or too niche? In particular the digital products. I have zero extra income as a single mumma who’s pregnant again and became single two days after getting pregnant. I need to start doing digital and printable products asap cos I’m Needing an income asap while I can’t work while pregnant and with a newborn. And I need to find setting my salon up too. You nailed it! Hey, quick question. My husband is a chef. He’s passionate and very successful at it but it’s taken a toll on his body after nearly 20 years and he wants to get out. But the idea of spending half his life doing this is super depressing. Like he’s wasted all the time to work his way to the top to just walk away. I’ve been wracking my brain on ways he could transition to something else in the field and he’s not interested in starting a YT channel or being any sort of online personality. What ideas would you give for someone in this industry a service based “out”? He’s got time, at least a few years to work on a side hustle. Thanks for all the awesome info!
@AstoundingAries2 жыл бұрын
This is a great question! I used to work in the restaurant industry as a server and I also wonder how to translate my “skills” to a service based business. Maybe your husband can write a cookbook ebook and sell on Amazon? That’s not really service based but it is passive income. Or maybe he can sell a one on one cooking class? Or put menus together for restaurants? Hopefully he finds something!

Look at the skills that help you do your job. For example, in some retail industries, you need skills like inventory management, record keeping, logistics, etc you can coach small business owners in that industry or transfer those skills to help other entrepreneurs in other industries. For food service, you can start an online membership community to help moms or single dads with dinner ideas, etc.
