Very powerful message. I found fasting through research after family members got cancer. Then a decade later re-discovered spiritual fasting. The hunger enzyme is flushed out of your body after 18 hours, so everything after that isn't "hunger." The most difficult part is not being around friends/family during normal meal times, which I really look forward to. My longest was 29 days, no food, no booze, while cooking meals daily for family. 100% of non-believers say this is unhealthy. Lemme tell you, it is very spritually rewarding. All glory to our Lord Jesus the Christ.

Fasting and depriving yourself of sleep, in my experience, will provoke visions. It's important to pray during this time. Some visions are not from our Lord. However, it is a sign that you are on the right path. If you're new to this. Do not be afraid of what you see. After these attacks, depending on our Father's will. You will be surprised. Bible study helped me a lot during this time.

This couldn't have came at a better time. I was just thinking to myself last night about fasting. I wanted to look into fasting so i can overcome a sin of the flesh i absolutely hate. Ive tried on my own and have failed every time. I know Yeshua is coming back real soon and i would absolutely despise myself if i failed to make it home because i couldnt overcome pleasures ive grown to hate. Im praying that fasting and prayer will help me to finally overcome this demon.

It helps to fast i like to water fast for 1-3 days max. But remember what Jesus said in matthew 8:26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” This gave me much strength because i doubted that my faith was strong enough and i overcame my weakness. I will pray that the lord will set you free of those unholy spirits

It isn't necessary or customary. There is no set day or ceremony. It is an option for practicing self discipline or personal sacrifice. First try 24 hrs. Drink water only. The people that have gone beyond 7 days have some real self control. Use your best judgement. What is right for one is not right for everyone. Don't expect to run a marathon etc. There is also some recovery time after fasting. Again, it is not for everybody. I am not making any claims as to what your experience will be.
