Música no estúdio é uma coisa, ao vivo é difícil até pra voz, mas é uma extraordinária canção, principalmente a mensagem implícita, o que a torna inesquecível.

@kauaiads9 жыл бұрын
Somehow, I can't believe this is the same vocalist that was on the original recording. His range, timbre, phrasing, timing, articulation, and resonance (no growl) are all completely different. Even the accent is not the same as the record - this sounds more Irish. I suspect they hired another male lead singer for the recording... Possibly the lead Singer from The Feelers. Listen to his live version and see if it doesn't sound much more like the record. Crazy, I know, but that's my theory...
@FlyingTiger20999 жыл бұрын
+kauaiads virtually all "music" is not made by the apparent artists but by the session musicians. Has been true since day one. Or did you never wonder why the beatles, stones and the rest of the 60s scum never seemed to sound any good live?

@GEricG8 жыл бұрын
+Flying Tiger the truth is obviously too boring for some people. Mike Edwards sang vocals on the original recordings and these live shows. I tell you who didn't really sing vocals on their original recordings: Milli Vanilli (don't tell anyone else though ;-)

I will never forget the first heard this song! It was AN ASSAULT TO THE SENSES! i WENT RIGHT OUT & BOUGHT IT, PLUGGED IT INTO MY CAR STEREO & CRANKED IT! SWEEEEEET! NEEDLESS TO SAY , IT HAD THE DESIRED EFFECT! This is the same melody & a few similar chords & what not,...BUT THIS IS NOT "RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW" THAT I RAN OUT & BOUGHT! WHERE IS THE GROWL? WHERE IS THE HEART????? This is as if someone killed it... :*(
