Talking about Jordan High? Lol. One time I was looking at an apartment building across the street wondering why it was so damn cheap yet it had a tennis court and a pool. Then I looked at the "kids" getting out of class and left at an alarming rate of speed. Since East Long Beach borders "boring" Lakewood and Orange County, it's probably one of the most normal sections of LA County. West LB is a shithole other than sections of downtown that cater to cruise people and other tourists looking at the aquarium. I haven't been there in a couple years, but the police seem to intermittently clear out the homeless, who typically linger around the central bus/train station.
