I don’t think it matters where the Jets pick. Their issues run deeper than what a draft can fix. If the Jets pick one of these QBs it would be a waste of the pick.

Even if they end up with the #2 pick, they shouldn't draft a QB. This is a terrible team right now and if you just plug in a rookie QB now, results would be just as bad as the last time a #2 pick was drafted as QB. Build the team up the right way with strength in position players in the lines. This way you don't need to draft the next Mahomes.

Hate to say it but the pick isn’t the only asset the pats will have over the jets. They have cap space and a real plan at qb that isn’t a guy turning 42 with one leg. And because of that it means a good coach will want to go there. And I say it as someone who despises the pats.

If the New York Jets miss out on one of the top two quarterbacks, they need to go after Justin Fields. If they do have one of the top two pics I honestly like Shedur Sanders more than I like Cam Ward, because Sanders can read defenses. I’m not sure about this kid in Miami every pass I’ve ever seen the WRs are wide open, just like Zach Wilson. If we sign Fields, then we can still have our first and second round draft picks, and we can trade back for more picks,then use them to draft two interior defensive lineman, draft a right offensive tackle an offensive guard, a safety, a cornerback and a number three wide receiver.

I’d rather see the Jets trade out and get more draft capital for next year. Next years QB class looks like it’ll be much better than this years. If they can come away with Travis Hunter and extra picks in next year’s draft I would be extremely happy.

Dude I think we can all get behind my scenario here, which is Buffalo going down early in the playoffs..First we gotta beat Miami and ruin their season, next is a Denver loss vs KC and a Cincy win vs Pittsburgh...If this unfolds we have Cincy at Buffalo 1st round and it's Bye Bye Bills.. I've suffered for 30 years being a Jets fan and the final nail in my coffin would be the Bills holding that Lombardi.. I don't think I can live with that

If we ended up with the number 2 pick. That’s an automatic trade back scenario IMO. Neither one of the top 2 Qb’s are good. They both suck. Some sucker team will trade up for one for them. Not wasting a top pick on of those bums. Trade back if we get number 2 !! Fill out the roster and we’ll have 2 first rounders in 2026 to take a big swing for our future QB then.

Trade up for Shadour - whatever it takes - or take chance NE doesn't trade to someone else as they have a QB. Kid is a special player like his dad just at different position. He's a Fran Tarkington/Steve Young/Michael Vick/Pat Mahomes/Josh Allen type dude - that kind of ceiling - a sure thing!!!! If gone I take Hunter not impressed with Cam or anyone else for NFL near as much as SS.

The pick will be meaningless unless they hire an excellent HC and a strong staff. First round talent is only valuable if you have people that can develop them and know how to put them in positions to be successful. Sam Darnold is exhibit A. With Woody in charge, it's all very doubtful. He fired Saleh, who was the only person in the building who knew how to at least develop defensive talent. Not an effective HC, but they were left with literally no one.

I agree and I’ve been right about basically everything on the jets. The best offensive weapon is GW. His college QB is Fields. Now, this won’t be a Burrow/Chase deal but it’s definitely a positive. You get Fields who can run and Hall who can run and GW is your clear number one WR. The goal is to improve and get to a playoff game. There is enough talent in the room and once you get rid of the horrible aroma from AR the team can start improving.

Not gonna make a difference in this draft unless jets make a deal to trade back and get more picks. None of the QBs in this draft to me are nfl ready and I think they are overrated. Milroe is a 2nd round pick. Ward hasnt played tough defenses and miami's offense isnt anywhere near pro style. Sanders has talent but again the competition level is low ( think zach Wilson) and I also think he thinks he is instant superstar which may make him impossible to coach. Given that tua may be out and how this team has given up and rodgers cares only aboit stats, not likely to win.
