In 2004 at age 31 Curtis Martin led the NFL in carries (371) and rushing yards (1,697) while averaging a career-best 4.6 yards per carry. He also rushed for 12 scores. All the more impressive when you consider his longest run was only 25 yards. Also, it was discovered after week 6 his MCL had almost a grade 3 tear.

The question always arises on why Herbert and the Chargers consistently underachieve. They play 8-9 road games plus 8-9 neutral site games and that's being charitable. How many other teams use a silent count in their own stadium? No home field advantage will always be a big obstacle for the Chargers as long as they're in LA.

I watched this live on TV. Damn I remember from about 2000 - 2004 I was a big Jets fan, I had a Santana Moss jersey. This game I didn't think the Jets could pull it out, then I remembered this play 3:49 all I remembered were people saying Pennington had no arm, when he threw that I was like 👀. When they did win I was like sheesh 😂

What a magic season. Tom Brady on fire, Roethlisberger's rookie season, Manning broke Dan Marino single season TD récord, we didnt know that but 4 of the greatest of all time were together in the AFC playoffs Brady, Manning, Brees y Roethlisberger

Doug Brien missing a chipshot and nearly missing an XP (when they were crazy easy) was foreshadowing at its best.
