Thank you for another great video comparison! I believe the G700 will eventually outsell the G800. Although the G800 has a slightly longer range, the larger cabin of the G700 would make such long trips more comfortable for the passengers. Both are marvelous top-of-the-line jets, of course.

The g700 is faster than the g800 and has a larger cabin. I will not buy something just because it is more expensive. That is why I have a g700 on order.

@JetStream: Are you sure you got the max. speed of the G800 right? If cruising speed is Mach 0,90 then how come max. speed is lower than that, only 0,85? Shouldn´t it be 0,95?

Better on wat sense? Range goes to G800 while comfort goes to g700 due to larger cabin

IMO it depends on the number of people who will be flying to a business meeting, the 800 is probably good for 6 to 8 people to travel in comfort if it is 8 to 10 people then the 700 will be the way to go via its bigger cabin.

Just a heads up. The very first G700 has not been delivered yet, and isn't expected to be until the end of 2023. The G800 is a replacement for the G700, and isn't expected until 2025-26.

I think they botched the g800. These are billionaires toys. Why not just make a bigger plane. I know it is more streamlined to make a 2 models the same size for the manufacturer but not as good for the ultra wealthy customer. Bump the price up to 100 mil and get 18k range and a bed and shower with crew quarters. Bombadier were smart with the global 8000. They just went bigger and faster.

Gulfstream must make more effort, the g800 is a small caliber model in front of the bombardier 7500 or the falcon 6x and 10x.I'm disappointed.

How is 8ft wide the widest cabin in luxury jets? The Dassault Falcon 10x easily beats this by 1 foot (30cm), and beats the 6'3" height by 5 inches (12.5cm)

The lack of full length slats on this aircraft will see it lose sales to the Global 7500 and the soon to be Dassault Falcon 10X. Gulfstream needs a new wing design with full length slats.
